Many people have trouble practicing their wedges off of a normal hitting mat. That is why we have developed the Rough Chip Mat. This premier mat simulates the "rough" on a golf course with 2 1/2" tall "blades" of grass. We have combined our rough turf with the same 5/8" base pad used on our commercial hitting mats. Our rough chip mats are commercial quality, we sell them to high schools, universities, and golf shops. Our "rough" turf can also be combined with a commercial hitting mat to make the Ultimate Hitting Mat.
